Spring is around the Corner… #BadManxBuggy

Okay, so we are heading into spring, so I thought I may as well add some colour to my blog. Things are looking up and we may be able to enjoy an early summer, here in Canada. The weekend is going to be above 10 Celsius… but check out Monday 17 Celsius… N.I.C.E. nice!

And for the ones that relate to Fahrenheit, this is what that looks like

Okay, let me know if the new setup brightens your day, and play COVID19 safe!

Cheers, #BadManxBuggy Bri at http://www.BadManxBuggy.com

#MerryChristmas and Seasons Greeting…. Cheers!

Okay, I think everyone can agree 2020 sucked big time and we all will be happy to see it go! But, let’s focus on the positive side of the Holiday Season. I think that everyone, can step back this year, from the usual holiday craziness and really enjoy this holiday season of 2020. Think about not having to deal with packed parking lots, retail stores, X-mas Rage from people that are stressed out, from the anxiety of the season, travelling through inclement weather conditions and trying to jamm’in as much as possible, you are spread so thin, there is no time to enjoy the holidays.

Okay, some may enjoy the above, but I do not, now for my positive spin… agree or disagree

STOP! Take a look around and I think everyone, can identify the most important people, person or interest you enjoy, right at your finger tips. (A loved one, pet, game, book, whatever it may be) Think about how the season was celebrated 100 years ago, taking away all of the modern distractions. Simple as, taking a walk Christmas Eve in the park with the one you cherish, person, pet whatever… winter or warmer activities, indoor or out, be creative and make it your own. I’m not saying there will be won’t be family members, impacted by the lockdown. Since my dad has passed, my mom will be on her own, and we will do our best to include her, safely. I’m suggesting we step back, go back to some of the basics and find good in each of our own surroundings. Pick up the phone and reach out to the ones you can’t visit, don’t simply post your thoughts on social media, thinking that everyone will see your wishes.

So posting on my blog is really a contradiction, but, this message is intended for our extended family.

Visiting my Dad and showing him I have the Buggy back together again.

I would like to share this modern classic with my fellow bloggers and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Enjoy a modern version of this Xmas Classic

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays – Stay safe and Healthy…

#HappyBirthday Dad… it’s almost been 3 years, since you were taken from your loved ones… by #cancer

Passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Innisfree House at the age of 84.

Thanks for all the good times we shared, from looking for the 1964 Beetle, to rebuild #BadManxBuggy cutting it down, wiring it up and put it back together. Donna and I will cherish the time we spend going to #Volkswagen shows…

#SpaceX and another successful Falcon 9 launch, completing SpaceX’s 25th launch this year

I have always been a big fan of space exploration and happy it’s back in the spotlight. The footage that’s being captured today is spectacular and love the different angles, during and after each launch.

If you are following this action, I would encourage you to take a look at this COVID19 distraction.

Cheers, be smart and stay safe,

RIP Eddie Van Halen

I remember the first time I heard Van Halen. I think everyone that followed #Eddievanhalen remember “You Really Got Me” or “Eruption”.

It was March 1978 and I was in Florida on vacation with my buddy’s family. We had a high school band and were covering “You Really Got Me” by The Kinks”. We were in a music store and I heard Van Halen’s version, play over the sound system in the store. I went up to the counter and asked, who the heck is that playing. Well, I purchased the album and it came back to Canada as my souvenir.

As a guitarist 🎸 he changed the way, I wanted to play the guitar and inspired me to work harder. I think we all were Eddie Van Halen wanna beezzzzz at one point or another.

I never met him, like most of us, but was able to see him play live, and from the comments of friends, he was a humble genius, that will live on forever, through the gift of music 🎶 he shared with all of us.

#RIPEddieVanHalen we will meet on the other side…
