Passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Innisfree House at the age of 84.
Beloved husband for 62 years to Vera (nee: Gerber).
Loving Dad to Brian (Donna), Brad (Debbie), Bruce (Teresa) and Barb (Bob).
Cherished Grandpa to James (Stephanie), Christine, Dane (Nadia), Devon (Heather), Dakota (Rebecca) Jacob, Tyson, Brynn (Christina), Thomas and Alexandra and Great-Grandpa to Logan, Liam, Charlotte, Johnny, Carson, Hayden and Nash.
Dear brother to the late Annie (the late Bob), June (George), the late Tommy, Shirley (the late Ted) and Doug (Donna).
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial Service celebrating Jim’s life will be held at First Mennonite Church (800 King St. East, Kitchener) on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the church hall after the service.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Innisfree House would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the Henry Walser funeral home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, or by calling 519-749-8467).
